Happy Valentines Day!!!

~Valentines day is always fun. The kids made bank with lots of candy, I helped out with Daniel's Valentine party, John snuck a fun gift in the car, so I found it before I went to the school- sneaky devil! After the party, Daniel, Gabe, Elleanor & I went to "Pebbles in my Pocket" (YES, I love that store!!) then to visit Daddy & give him a Valentine...That is always fun, but this time the visit had to be short because Gabe thinks he owns the place, and is a whirlwind of distruction (in the office and the scrapbook store). I made it easy and bought heart pizza's for dinner, put some balloons up, and gave the kids a gift- chocolates and a little sock monkey, wrapped on the dinner plate. What a fun day. Everyone was happy, and very tired... We had a giant teeth brushing/ gargle fest, said our prayers and went to bed! In the mean time I'm scheaming about how to throw out all that candy!!!

Elleanor Ruby Haight is Blessed

Posted by Picasa

~ On Saturday 12-12-10 Katie & Jason generously hosted our family Christmas party. We started the party off with John blessing little Elleanor Ruby. It was very special. Brad & Rebecca drove out from Kansas Missouri, so All my siblings were there. Barbara & Emma represented John's family. It was so-oo good to get together with All who came!!!!!!Thankyou for giving us your Saturday!
Do you like Elleanors dress? I stayed up ALL night finishing it up. I fashioned it after my wedding veil, & the bodice has fabric and lace left over from my wedding dress. I love sewing projects like this. I hope it has special meaning for my daughter, and maybe she will honor me by blessing her daughter in it one day!
~ ♥ Love you baby girl ♥ ~ X0X0 ~

Loving Elleanor

~ Loving Elleanor is easy! She is happy, alert, and precious as can be. She makes everyone smile. The kids rush home so they can hold her, Okay so I could possibly put her down once in a while! She has her Daddy wrapped around her tiny finger...Is five kids worth it? Every day of the week! Absolutely! Elleanor is the "Cherry on top" and that's the way we like it :)

Cousins!

We love our Cousins! After Christmas C & M came down with their Mom and we had the best time hanging out and having fun together! The kids had a whopping 2 weeks to kill for Christmas break. Having company really made the time fly! We can't wait for them to come back again. Peace !

Littlest Angel

Here he is, he, he, he... the adoreable, charming, yet terror-ific two year old! What is the hardest thing about having 5 kids? You guessed it! The 2 year old! And boy has his nose been out of joint. He went from the "Littleest Angel" eating all his veggies, taking a nap with out crying, and saying "Bless you" everytime someone sneezed; to lighting the hallway carpet on fire because he had two sets of keys jammed into the plug outlet, sending a 5 foot spray of fireworks evertime the keys swung together and arked... and that is only one instance. He is coming out of it, and as for now we won't be selling him to the Gypsies...

Elleanor the Owl-ette

Elleanor got a fabulous package in the mail from her Aunt Rebecca!!!
She made this adoreable Owl hat! You want one now don't you!! I mean, we had to do an impromtu photo shoot, and Elleanor of course loved wearing her new hat, and eating the braids. Gosh, this has to be one of the cutest hats I have ever seen. Thank you Aunt Rebecca, Elleanor is the Luckiest!

Fun with Mr. Snowman

For Johns birthday we went up to the family cabin and played in the snow. Wow, it was so much fun! We built a snowman, a snow fort, and funnest of all there was a snowball fight. It was nice to laugh out loud and have no worries in the whole wide world. The cabin is in a sleepy little town with no gas stations or stores (Okay, there is one 10 minutes away in the next town) people ride up and down the streets on their 4-wheelers if they want. It is close to the mountain so we took the 4-wheeler up there for an hour or so and enjoyed the crisp winter air.

We laughed a lot, ate to much, and enjoyed each others company every single minute! I can't wait to go back. John thanks for turning 35... Happy Birthday Good Lookin'- thats what it took to get us there! -x o x o -
